These terms and conditions govern your use of keydevstudios.co.uk and the services provided by KeyDev Studios Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.
By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
KeyDev Studios provides web design, development, SEO and digital marketing services to UK businesses. The specific scope, deliverables and pricing for each project will be agreed in writing before work begins.
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue any project at our discretion. Where we decline a project after payment has been made, a full refund will be issued.
All prices are quoted in GBP and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are as follows:
Invoices are due within 7 days of issue. Late payments may result in work being paused until the outstanding balance is cleared.
We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not satisfied with your completed website, we will either rebuild it to your requirements or issue a full refund — your choice. This guarantee applies to the Starter Site and Single Product Ecommerce packages.
The guarantee does not apply where dissatisfaction arises from changes to your requirements after work has begun, or from third-party services outside our control.
The Starter Site package includes free amendments for 12 months from the date the site goes live. This covers changes to existing content, text and minor styling adjustments.
Amendments do not include new pages, new sections, new functionality, or structural redesigns. These will be quoted separately.
To deliver your project on time, we require you to:
Delays caused by late provision of content or approvals may affect the 48-hour delivery commitment and are outside our control.
Upon receipt of final payment, you own the design and content of your website. We retain the right to display your project in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
We retain ownership of any underlying code frameworks, tools or methodologies used in building your site. Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their respective licences.
Any content you provide to us remains your intellectual property. By providing it, you grant us a licence to use it for the purpose of delivering your project.
Where we purchase a domain on your behalf, it will be registered in your name or transferred to you on request. Annual domain renewal fees are the client's responsibility after the first year unless otherwise agreed.
Hosting is provided via Vercel. We cannot guarantee 100% uptime as this is subject to Vercel's own service terms. We will endeavour to resolve any hosting issues promptly.
You may cancel a project at any time by notifying us in writing. The following applies:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeyDev Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or website, including loss of business, revenue or data.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
